Portrait by Malcom Brown

Drawing from childhood memories and family secrets, my sculptures, photographs, and works on paper keep up the appearances of a happy home while subtly symptomatic of a fraudulent façade.  Delicate and quiet handmades, readymades, and personal keepsakes are vessels for the introverted voice of my reflections on youthful naïveté, the pristine pastel and white palette invoking a dialogue that questions the cleanliness of the family construct, the gratification of the domestic domain, and the power of denial.
